I am SO excited to feature this next wedding. The bride is a true fashionista and you can see her eclectic style throughout the design choices in the wedding. First, can we discuss this dress...in the words of Rachel Zoe..."I die." And of course, I absolutely love her choice of a non-traditional reception venue. The House of Blues - Dallas is a perfect backdrop for her gothic-inspired style. However, the couple still kept it traditional by having a church ceremony. Brides, don't be afraid to mix and match different styles. Usually, I am stickler for design consistency throughout your wedding celebration, but different styles can definitely be pulled off if executed correctly. From Anna Routh Photography...Heather is a fashion guru, so when planning her wedding she wanted to focus on a very fashion forward, "gothic"-themed event. She chose a beautiful space at the House of Blues Dallas and filled it with towering baby's breath arrangements and enormous amounts of melted wax. The event, complete with the most beautiful croquembouche you've ever seen and a total outfit change for the bride, was a beautiful night of dancing and a fantastic celebration of Heather and Sam's love.
