Why Should You Have Your Wedding Reception in a Ballroom?
Advantages to Renting a Ballroom in Houston for Your Wedding
Flexibility is one of the main advantages you will gain from renting a ballroom for your wedding. Ballroom wedding venues typically offer a variety of set-ups/configurations to accommodate any number of guests allowing you to create your ideal wedding layout. Additionally, ballrooms can provide you with a beautiful indoor setting, preventing the weather from ruining your big day.
Disadvantages of Choosing a Ballroom Venue for Your Wedding in Houston
One considerable disadvantage of choosing a ballroom for rent in Houston is that many of these event spaces might not allow you to use your own caterer, forcing you to settle for the venue's available menu and beverage selections.
Additionally, the ballroom's aesthetic may not work well with your wedding's color scheme or overall theme. This is why it is so important to choose your wedding venue before you pick your wedding colors or decide on a style for your wedding. Your venue will dictate your color selection and style choices.
How Much Should You Expect to Pay to Rent a Ballroom in Houston?
Prices will naturally depend on the size and style of the ballroom, what events you plan to hold in the space (wedding ceremony and reception or just the wedding reception), and the menu items you choose to serve your guests, but it is safe to say that you should budget for $100 and up per head.
