DIY has never looked so good! This whimsical Houston wedding came to us by way of Jessica Pledger Photography and I am thrilled to share it with you. It's filled to the brim with steal-worthy ideas and projects. From the wedding fan programs to the trail mix favor bar, it has this couple's signature style all over it. Yet the wedding still maintains a traditional and elegant aesthetic. Jessica Pledger was the lucky photographer to capture the beautiful decor and the love this couple so obviously share. There's even more DIY goodness in the gallery.
From Jessica Pledger Photography...Jessica & Clayton had a gorgeous southern wedding at a beautiful rustic venue south of Houston, Texas. Jessica's mom has a gift for creating! Everything she touches is bound to be the next Pinterest hit. There were so many DIY features at this wedding, it was hard to capture everything. I loved the girly pink florals everywhere, but with the masculine addition of antlers for the groom (see the altar arch). They even dusted some gunshot shells around. They had tons of guests and a big wedding party. I loved the coral bridesmaid's dresses, and it looked great next to the guy's khaki suits. Jessica's dress was my favorite. There was so much intricate beading, which really had a glamorous feel, and it sparkled all night long. Jessica & Clayton had streamer sticks and degradable confetti that they used during the exit. The gave away koozies with their name on it as favors as well as trail mix. One of the most unique things they had was the gorgeous trail mix bar and giant chalkboard program.
