Are you guys ready for this?!!! The uber-talented Jennifer Lindberg of Jennifer Lindberg Weddings sent over these amazing images from a recent tented Austin wedding she shot. After I finished doing my "happy dance", I actually sat down and devoured each image. The scenic Austin hill country provided the perfect backdrop for this "Elegant Hill Country" wedding. I just adore the bride's sheer cap-sleeve gown. And the color palette she chose compliments the hill country so beautifully-periwinkle blue, cream, beige and green. But I think the thing I love most is how in love the couple truly seems and how much fun everyone appears to be having. I so wish I could have been a guest at this wedding! From the Bride...All I really knew going into planning the wedding was that I wanted fresh air, autumn leaves (if you can really call them that in Texas), and sunshine. But I also didn't want to lose that elegant feel of a classic, traditional wedding. I love lots of crystal and sparkle, candlelight. It seemed so romantic to be outdoors on such a beautiful day, watching the sunset, and then be transported into this tent with candlelight and beautiful flowers and chandeliers. I think my mom's friend, Deborah (also our wedding "planner"), called it Elegant Hill Country. She even hung little crystals on the centerpiece flowers-my personal favorite touch. I think I got the best of both worlds.
