Summer is drawing to a close (although you can't tell it here in Texas) and before we bid farewell to the season, we wanted to share with you this River Oaks Garden Houston styled shoot. Set against the luscious greenery of the River Oaks Garden Club, the amazing team of stylists pulled together all the vibrant colors of summer to produce this playful, yet glamorous shoot. Sometimes it can be hard to incorporate bright colors into a wedding while still making it look elegant. But Heather struck that perfect balance between fancy and whimsy. Lauren of Lauren J Photography was there to capture all of the beautiful set ups. There's more to love in the gallery.
From Lauren J Photography...Our goal was to create something fun and different. We wanted to make a statement that it's okay to think outside of the box. With the greenery around River Oaks Garden Club, we were able to make the different elements and stunning florals stand out creating a tucked away glam wedding. With the table scape set up between two large oak trees, we decided to style with hydrangeas, peonies, and roses. Each chair was sashed with sparkle and finished with a pink peony. The mercury vases held the bundle of summer florals and gave a sense of romance. Different colored vintage glasses gave the table an eclectic look. The hand crafted wooden calligraphy nametags served as fun keepsake for each guest to keep. To bring the color together, the cake was cheerful with bright summer faded ombre yellow frosting and colorful flowers draping the cake. The pops of color bring the garden to life and with a hint of sparkle glam you have a romantic glamorous wedding.
