This gorgeous Johnson City engagement shoot could easily be used in a commercial convincing people to take their next vacation in Texas. Jessica Pledger Photography used a variety of backdrops during a variety of times of day to really capture the beauty and delight of both the couple and their amazing location. Have you ever seen so many bluebonnets in one field? If you have access to a unique location like this couple did, an engagement shoot is a perfect time to take advantage of it. I also like how the bride-to-be wore two different outfits for different locations. Check our more photos from this engagement shoot in the gallery.
From Jessica Pledger Photography...Joslyn contacted me and knew she wanted to have her engagement session out at her family ranch in the Texas hill country in Johnson City, a city named after President Lyndon Johnson. She told me the property had a lot of bluebonnets during the spring and she was hoping to capture that. We scheduled the session and it could not have worked out better. This was one of my favorite engagement sessions of all time, and I like to say it was my most "Texas" session ever. We had hills full of bluebonnets, the couple's horse "Jenks", cows, hill country views, big oaks trees, and just a blazing Texas sunset. There are so many awesome shots. I have never seen so many bluebonnets in one place. I didn't find out until I arrived at the session that the couple brought their horse along to the session, so we had a lot of fun with him too!
