Here is an uber-cute, College Station wedding held at the 7F Lodge in College Station. Filled to the brim with pink and brown and lots of loving fun, this bride outdid herself! From the centerpieces to the cake balls this bride created it all. And I just cant get over the personalized book she made for her husband on their special day! All the special moments and every little detail was captured beautifully by Butch Ireland Photography. But enough blabbing, let's get to devouring this country, yet chic affair.
From the bride...Our wedding was definitely something out of a fairy tale book. My husband and I paid for the entire event which resulted in having to keep on our budget. I am a very crafty person so I took it upon myself to create my dreams into reality. I was very busy for the 10 months leading up to our wedding day. I made all the wine bottle centerpieces for the reception tables. All the cute paper, wood and chalkboard signs were something I did last minute to help spice up the venue. Every guest got a koozie to take home and I created and printed out a "Thank You" card that we placed at each place setting. I also made 200 cakes balls to put around the cakes so people could snack on something sweet before the cake was cut. I made Anna's (our precious chocolate lab) pink collar and leash for the ceremony. She was in charge of carrying our rings down the aisle, and she did the most FANTASTIC job. I made the flower girl baskets along with my garter to wear during the ceremony. I also made my "Bride" dress to wear as I got ready before the ceremony. I had every intention to make programs but as all brides I just ran out of time, so my husband and I made a chalkboard and I just wrote all the details on that. I have to say that was one of my better decisions to not make the individual programs. Our wedding gift to each other was custom boots that we wore on our wedding day. We also could not afford a wedding planner so I planned every little detail myself, which I would have not had it any other way! The day turned out just PERFECT for us!
