Altar Ego Weddings has done it again! They've sent us another extraordinary wedding that we just can't get enough of! The bride chose the the incomparable Star Hill Ranch to hold her Bee Cave wedding celebration. With its unique set of locations, this venue as so many different backdrops to choose from. And this bride took advantage of so many of them. And I absolutely adore her bridesmaids one-shoulder, navy blue dresses! These dresses are definitely not ones her girls will look back on a regret wearing. Dustin Finkelstein was there to capture every unique and sweet detail. From Altar Ego Weddings...This is the 100th wedding of Altar Ego Weddings owner, Jennifer Ashford! Lynne and Jeff's wedding was in Austin at Star Hill Ranch. We worked together on her design, planning details and coordinating the day! Lynne chose a color palette of light blue, coral, ivory and sage. Her bridesmaids wore navy (the new black, you know) and the florals were in gorgeous brushed gold vases! Star Hill Ranch is a unique venue in that it's fashioned like an old town's main street. There are multiple buildings and even a saloon, which is now used as the groom's house! The venue also serves as a movie set and has hosted filming of well-known movies such as American Outlaws and Disney's The Alamo. To take advantage of the special layout of the venue, Lynne chose a different building or site for each portion of the wedding. The ceremony was held in the white chapel, then guests moved to an outdoor patio area beside the Fitzhugh Building for cocktail hour. Yard games were spread across the Main Street for guests to enjoy. After cocktail hour, dinner was served family-style in side A of the Fitzhugh Building. After cake cutting, guests were directed to the Reception Hall to dance the night away to the tunes of the Rocket Brothers Band! The Reception Hall has a gorgeous veranda on the back, so we took advantage of the space by placing three different vintage lounge vignettes for guests to enjoy. At the end of the night, after a private last dance, Lynne and Jeff enjoyed a grand sparkler exit and hopped into a vintage 1937 Cadillac to whisk them away to their honeymoon suite at the Omni Barton Creek Hotel.
